In OK, only Baglin and Drummond remain in contention for the OK title as Hoogendoorn and Schaufler were unable to launch the blistering starts to their weekends they needed to stay in the race. Baglin's strong day coupled with Drummond's significant setbacks have left the reigning junior World Champion with a healthy 42-point gap to his fellow Brit.

In Junior, Miron Lorente gave everything he had to lead the intermediate classification this evening and stay in the title race. Miron Lorente has shrunk the gap to Will Green to 50 points with a maximum of 76 points on offer tomorrow.

In Academy Senior, Albie Lapper remains in command of the senior 2026 Academy Trophy but is facing pressure from his closest rival Genolet who has not given up hope of claiming the title. Lapper now has a 37-point advantage in the standings with 51 points still to play for.

The tension was palpable from the four remaining Championship contenders this morning with every corner of every lap crucial to their final bids to claim the European title this weekend.

When he took to the track this afternoon for his first heat of the day, Noah Baglin hoped to replicate his glide through the pack we witnessed yesterday evening when he claimed victory in his second heat. His opening push through the field and up into second place went initially smoothly for the Kart Republic driver but Aston Sharp defended expertly in the lead to deny Baglin back-to-back heat wins.

Over the afternoon heats, Baglin banked a win and third position which sets him up nicely for tomorrow's Super Heats where he will take his position on the front row. Following his heats today, Noah Baglin said "I've put a lot of pressure off my shoulders and got a lot of points today, so we'll see".

Zac Drummond's weekend went from bad to worse to a nightmare today as the driver who is closest to Baglin in the standings was forced to retire with a loss of sidepod mid-heat following contact with Egon Pedrotti and faced a second retirement in his final heat of the day. These setbacks have closed opportunities for the Fusion Motorsport driver this weekend as he required a near perfect weekend to mount a charge on Baglin for the European crown.

Dean Hoogendoorn made up a steady stream of places in his morning heat before igniting his weekend late this afternoon when he delivered a masterclass to glide past Noah Baglin and take a much-needed heat win. His impressive performance to dominate the heat has however come so late in the weekend that the current European junior champion is now out of contention for the 2026 European OK title.

Final championship contender Niklas Schaufler began to turn his weekend around marginally, gaining a flurry of spots across his heats but faced a retirement in his final heat to end any prospect of overtaking Noah Baglin in the standings.

Polesitter Dan Allemann lost his lead to Aston Sharp in his first heat, Hoogendoorn in his second heat and Baglin in his third heat as he faced a less favourable day of running today. William Calleja continued his perfect run of heat wins today to earn a maximum points haul and put himself in prime position tomorrow.

Henry Domain will join William Calleja as a Super Heat polesitter after a win and two top five finishes. Nicolo Cuman has also impressed to take two heat wins today leaving him in 4th place in the classification.

Elsewhere, Valerio Viapiana again demonstrated his racing brilliance following his standout performance in Mülsen where he claimed his first podium in the OK category. The young Italian climbed ten spots in his first heat and seemingly enjoys the push through the pack which he's tackled recently.

Junior

Will Green took one step closer to sealing the Junior championship today as he banked a steady day of results which is all he needs to cruise towards the title tomorrow. Green looked assured and confident on track today, gaining five places over the heats whilst maturely keeping his head down and holding position towards the front of the grids in this last hurdle for the Williams F1 Team Academy Driver.

However, Daniel Miron Lorente is not giving up on his attempt to cause a championship upset at the final opportunity. An eventful first heat of the day for him forced him to defend with everything he had against an in-form Leon Chelidze who successfully challenged for the heat lead in the closing laps. Miron Lorente fought back to retake the lead knowing every heat win and point was vital to keep his championship hopes alive.

When Green and Miron Lorente faced each other in the setpiece heat of the day, drama unfolded as Miron Lorente plummeted down the order in a loss of eight places, allowing Green through to outscore his closest rival and significantly improve his chances of championship victory tomorrow. Antoine Sylva Venant ultimately won that incredibly entertaining heat with Vsevolod Osadcyi-Suslovskyi the biggest beneficiary of the heat with a gain of 17 places, including on Miron Lorente, and across the line in seventh position.

Miron Lorente won his final heat of the day comfortably to retake his position at the top of the intermediate classification. Many Nuvolini, the only other driver mathematically able to be 2026 Junior European Champion, dropped positions in his first heat and is now unable to take the title after finishing the day in tenth position.

Stan Ratajski, who qualified in second position yesterday, cruised from lights to flag in his three heats to hold his advantage and seize a well-earned pole position for tomorrow's Super Heat.

Across the other heats, Gioele Girardello also continues to have a storming weekend in Kristianstad. The Parolin driver who competed in the FIA Karting Shootout last year cruised from lights to flag in his first heat and ends the day in third place in the Intermediate Classification and on the front row for his Super Heat

Academy Senior

Albie Lapper remains in command of the senior 2026 Academy Trophy but is facing pressure from his closest rival Genolet who has not given up hope of claiming the title.

Polesitter Michal Zajac held his advantage this morning with standings leader Albie Lapper only able to close the gap to half a second as the chequered flag fell after the first heat of the day. Liam Carr made up a place to complete the top three as wafer-thin margins continue to separate the leading pack during this unpredictable final round.

Alexis Genolet continues to pose a danger to Lapper, matching his winning results and lurking just one step behind awaiting any misstep from the British driver. Simba Motoda from Japan also picked up places this morning, gaining three positions in his first heat after qualifying in 11th place yesterday.

The afternoon heats pitted Albie Lapper, Alexis Genolet, Liam Carr and Simba Motoda all against each other in a hard-fought and entertaining track battle. Lapper ultimately lost out to Alexis Genolet who took the heat win and lead in the intermediate classification in a bounce back for the Swiss driver after a disappointing second round in Germany.

Alex Desario began a mighty recovery drive after qualifying in 33rd yesterday. The Italian driver gained places across his heats to bring him up to 21st place, hampered only by a five second penalty handed to him after his first heat.

The final heats of the day confirmed Zajac's place at the top of the standings with a lights to flag victory that secured him maximum points today and pole position for tomorrow's final. Genolet remains a half step behind Zajac and will line up alongside Zajac on the front row of the grid.

Albie Lapper is to start on the second row of the grid tomorrow after his heat win this evening with Planeta starting in fifth.
