The WSK Promotion season came to an end at South Garda Karting in Lonato from 20th to 23rd November with the third and final round of the WSK Final Cup. The many drivers taking part had to contend with changeable weather conditions. LeCont, who supplied tyres for the OK and KZ2 categories, provided both slick and rain tyres to the competitors, always with the aim of consistency and competitiveness. Once again, LeCont fulfilled its mission with efficiency and the event lived up to all its promises, ending on a high note with some beautiful races.

A perfect transition between 2025 and 2026

Once again this year, the WSK Final Cup welcomed a large number of drivers, whose ambitions were as much to end the year on a high note as to start preparing for the coming season in a rigorous and professional environment: a real bridge between two seasons, at a time when WSK Promotion officials announced the renewal of their partnership with LeCont. The Italian tyre brand will once again equip the OK and KZ2 categories in 2026 with its famous "Prime" tyres in all WSK Series. "Established many years ago, this collaboration is completely satisfactory to all stakeholders in the WSK series," said the official WSK statement.

An intense and successful 20th season

With a presence in the three Super Master, Euro and Final Cup series, LeCont is pleased to have participated in the 2025 season of WSK Promotion, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of its successful organisations. On each occasion, the drivers were able to appreciate the high-tech products manufactured by LeCont, particularly during the final rounds in Franciacorta, Cremona and Lonato for the WSK Final Cup. Whether in the rain, as on Friday during Qualifying and the first Qualifying Heats, or on a dry track the following two days, the battles for victory and for the OK and KZ2 titles provided a spectacle of great intensity.

Pesl and Bertuca crowned champions with LeCont

Despite the cold track, Germany's Luke Kornder set the race record at 46.063s, faster than the time set by Spain's Christian Costoya in the WSK Super Master Series earlier in the season. In the Final, Italy's Filippo Sala won the final duel, beating Jindrich Pesl. By securing 2nd place, the Czech driver won the title after a brilliant season marked by three podium finishes, including one victory: P1 at Franciacorta, P3 at Cremona and P2 at Lonato. Winner at Cremona, Britain's Zak Drummond is runner-up ahead of Sala.

In KZ2, Italy's Giuseppe Palomba posted 45.246s, the fastest time in the category throughout the 2025 season in Lonato! Temperatures were low, but LeCont tyres still provided maximum grip and consistency for the demanding gearbox karts. Leader of the intermediate classification, Italian Cristian Bertuca led the Final from start to finish. Already winner of the two previous rounds, Bertuca claimed another title in one of the WSK Promotion series. After a magnificent pole position on rain tyres on Friday, Frenchman Emilien Denner finished 2nd in the Final and runner-up ahead of Romanian Daniel Vasile.
