The second round of the 2025 WSK Final Cup once again showcased the strength and consistency of Birelart Racing across every category. Cristian Bertuca's second consecutive victory in KZ2 extended his championship lead, while Vladimir Ivannikov's front-running pace in OK confirmed the competitiveness of the Birelart package. Across the board, the Italian marque combined precision, reliability and teamwork on the demanding Cremona circuit.

KZ2

Cristian Bertuca continued his superb form from Franciacorta with another dominant performance at Cremona. After controlling the Prefinal from start to finish, he converted pole position into a flawless victory in the 17-lap Final. His rhythm was relentless as he led every lap to take the win.

Behind him, Daniel Vasile (CL Racing Team) fought hard in the lead group to finish 3rd, just 0.18 seconds off 2nd place, confirming the team's pace. Jenson Graham (CL Racing) impressed again in 8th, while Ivan Pigaev completed the Birelart quartet in 22nd after a front-fairing penalty.

With this result, Bertuca strengthened his position at the top of the WSK Final Cup standings with 230 points, 88 clear of Vasile in second. The Birelart equipment once again proved to be the benchmark for performance and consistency in the highest-performance class.

OK

In the OK category, Vladimir Ivannikov displayed the same form that earned him acclaim in Franciacorta. After qualifying 6th overall, he won two heats in style, leading the bulk of Heat B-C, and executing a late-race pass to win Heat B-D.

Ivannikov then finished 3rd in Prefinal B, just 1.4 seconds behind the leader. He started the Final from the outside of the second row, a notoriously tricky position at Cremona, and this proved costly as he lost ground in the opening corners.

Despite this, he maintained strong pace throughout and completed a weekend that confirmed both his maturity and the speed of the Birelart chassis.

Mini U10

David Shitov impressed once again, finishing 15th in a very close race, with team-mates Mikhail Mitrokhin and Maksim Zholner also reaching the Final.

Riccardo Longhi, KZ2 Team Manager reflected on the weekend

"Cristian's back-to-back win is the result of perfect teamwork and a very balanced chassis-engine package. Daniel's podium shows how competitive CL Racing continues to be, and we're proud to see our drivers at the top of both races and the championship standings. It's also worth noting that Massimiliano Pezzucchi from Krypton Motorsport set both the fastest lap of the event in the Prefinal and the fastest lap in the Final, which once again highlights the exceptional overall performance of the Birelart chassis. This consistency gives us great confidence going into the final event."

Jordon Lennox, Direct Drive Team Manager added

"Vladimir's two Heat wins and strong Prefinal prove that we're closing the season with real momentum. The pace of the OK chassis is excellent, and the progress from Franciacorta to Cremona for all our young drivers shows the health of the Birelart Racing structure."

The third and final round of the 2025 WSK Final Cup will take place at South Garda Karting, Lonato, from 21st to 23rd November. It will be the last international event of the year for the KZ2, OK, OK-Junior, OKN-Junior and Mini categories, offering one final opportunity for the Birelart teams to cap off an already successful season with more victories.
