Reportagem: LeCont Srl

Franciacorta Karting Track definitely made headlines in October! Two weeks after the success of the World Championship, the magnificent Italian venue hosted the opening of the WSK Final Cup from 21st to 26th October 2025 with a sensational line-up of over 350 drivers. LeCont provided its usual expertise in supplying tyres for the OK and KZ2 categories, which produced some exciting races.

An always eagerly-awaited series

Ending the season on a high note, preparing for the following year, trying out new categories, demonstrating your performance level, enjoying perfectly organised competitions... there are plenty of reasons to take part in the WSK Final Cup! LeCont is proud to contribute to the success of this WSK Promotion series, which has been going strong for several years. In 2025, this Final Cup will take place over three events. After Franciacorta, the drivers and teams will race in Cremona from 4th to 9th November, then at South Garda Karting from 18th to 23rd November. Some great races are in store...

An ideal working environment with LeCont

CIK-FIA homologated for the 2024-2026 period, the LPM "prime" tyres continue to demonstrate their potential and their ability to optimally equip the most competitive karting categories such as OK and KZ2. Major international events are a valuable showcase for the Italian manufacturer, while allowing top-level drivers to show their talent. For manufacturers, teams and engine builders, the WSK Promotion series also offers a perfect opportunity to develop equipment in a favourable situation. They need to be able to rely on superior quality tyres, such as those produced by LeCont.

High performance

At Franciacorta, lap times remained strong from Free Practice through to the Finals. Once again, LeCont tyres were praised for their consistency. In both OK and KZ2, drivers managed to improve on their pole position times in the Qualifying Heats with tyres that had already covered several kilometres. In his second heat Vladimir Ivannikov set the OK class lap record at 46.812 with an average speed of 99.97 km/h. LeCont also mastered the power of the KZ2 class with an average lap speed exceeding 100 km/h. On Saturday afternoon, Daniel Vasile achieved 45.830 at an average speed of 102.12 km/h. Congratulations to Cristian Bertuca, who did even better in Sunday morning's warm-up with a time of 45.617.

LeCont congratulates the drivers on their performances, especially those who made it onto the podium. Czech driver Jindrich Pesl won the OK class ahead of Italian Manuel Scognamiglio, who took the lead in the overall standings, and Ukrainian Lev Krutoholov. In KZ2, Italy's Cristian Bertuca leads the WSK Final Cup after his victory in the Final ahead of France's Emilien Denner and Estonia's Markus Kajak. Five different chassis brands took the podium honours!
