Managed by A14 Management, the 15-year-old Brazilian takes on his first full season in single-seaters.

Alexander Jacoby, a 15-year-old Brazilian racer managed by A14 Management, was announced on Thursday (January 30) by Monlau Motul team as one of its drivers for the 2025 Spanish F4 season.

It's the first full season for the Brazilian, who last year made the transition from karting to single-seaters. He competed for part of the Spanish season and also raced at Interlagos in a F4 Brazil event, achieving a top 10 finish.

The driver had his first contact with the team on the track last week, during two days of collective tests in Navarra track. It was his first experience in 2025, under very challenging conditions: the sessions had cars from more than one category on track simultaneously, and were held on two days, one in the rain and the second in the cold.

The 2025 Spanish F4 season promises to be hotly contested, as in recent years the category has established itself as one of the most competitive on the global F4 scene.

The championship is made up of seven triple-header rounds starting on the last weekend of March. But prior to that it promotes the "Winter Series" in Jerez, Portimão and Navarra, in which Jacoby will also take part.

The 15-year-old talent was born in Washington (USA) to a German father and a Brazilian mother. He chose to compete under the green and yellow flag and is managed by A14 Management, a company founded by two-time F1 world champion and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Fernando Alonso to manage the careers of young drivers.

After moving with his family to Singapore at the age of 4, Jacoby had his first contact with the world of motorsport when he visited the F1 GP in the city. In 2019, he began his karting career, later competing in the USA, Europe and the Middle East. Last season, he began the transition to formula cars, but was not yet old enough to compete when the Spanish F4 Championship began. After May, when he turned 15, Alexander raced the partial season for the GRS team. At the end of the 2024 season, he had the opportunity to compete for the first time at Interlagos, in one of the Bassani F4 cars. In his first contact with the Brazilian track, he managed to finish one of the races in the top 10.

Next weekend, Alexander Jacoby will compete in the first round of the F4 Spain Winter Series, in Jerez. It will be his first races with the Monlau Motul team.

Driver quote:

"I'm very motivated and very happy to be racing this season with Monlau Motul in Spanish F4. The championship is hotly contested and I'm happy with the training and competition program we'll be doing together. My goal is to become a professional driver and make a living from motorsport and I'm confident that I have the support of a competent team to achieve this.

The start was very encouraging: we had a good few days of testing in Navarra. It was my first time driving in the 2025 and we've made a good start to the year. The first day had rain and was very challenging. The second day was dry, but very cold. We worked to be constant and to fit in all the sections well. In the end I managed a good lap, with all the sectors well done. We finished 0.4s off the best time, which was good considering the test conditions."
