Sendo assim, o piloto entrou em contato com a European Energy e, após um ano de negociações, a partir de 2025, a nova temporada da EuroNASCAR passa a utilizar e-metanol em suas competições.

William Ayer, piloto com mais de 30 anos de experiência dentro e fora do Brasil, responsável por todas as tratativas entre a EuroNASCAR e a dinamarquesa desenvolvedora de energia renovável, inclusive no Brasil, mora em São Paulo e está à disposição para dar mais detalhes sobre o projeto.

Ele ressalta que, já foi cogitado pela própria European Energy expandir a ação para outras modalidades do automobilismo nacional.

EuroNASCAR and European Energy enter collaboration on renewable energy in motorsports

Team FJ, founder and organizer of NASCAR Europe and European Energy are entering a collaboration to explore and implement renewable energy solutions with an emphasis on renewable methanol within the NASCAR Euro Series operations.

Team FJ and European Energy have signed an agreement to pursue more sustainable motorsports by integrating renewable energy solutions into the future of the NASCAR Euro Series.

The agreement will focus on introducing renewable methanol to power the car used in the NASCAR’s official European championship. In addition, the partnership will explore how renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power as well as green hydrogen can be used to further decarbonize the NASCAR Europe facilities, operations and value chain.
