Sodikart, a long-standing and valued partner of BRP-Rotax with its high quality chassis and competent services, is delighted to have been chosen once again as the technical provider for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2021, which will take place from 11th to 18th December at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit.

The flagship event of the Rotax MAX Challenge sporting season is set to welcome a record number of nearly 380 drivers from more than 60 nations around the world for the seven categories on the programme of this 21st edition. The Sodikart factory has ensured the production of 72 Junior MAX and 72 Senior MAX chassis, the assembly and shipment of the complete karts and spare parts based on the famous Sigma RS3 2021. The Rotax Project E20 E-Kart electric kart class, which will be racing for the first time at an RMCGF, also uses Sodi chassis.

A word from Sodikart's Managing Director, Bertrand Pignolet:

"After the last minute cancellation of the 2020 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals due to the pandemic, we are very happy to be able to resume our collaboration with BRP-Rotax in 2021, for the eleventh consecutive year. It is a real pleasure and challenge to bring this Final to Bahrain. We have been supplying the chassis for two different categories since 2015. Participating in this major world karting event is always a highlight of the season and mobilises all our teams several months in advance. We always take up this challenge with great pride and prepare our chassis for this exceptional competition which allows us to show the quality of our products to a large number of competitors from all over the world. The mastery of logistics and related services that characterises our business as a whole is something that is highly appreciated by all."

As usual, the French brand anticipated the multiple tasks involved in its role as official supplier to cope with any eventuality. In total, more than three tonnes of engineering steel were used, including 500m of tubing and 250m of weld seam, to produce the 154 chassis. The shipment of the complete karts and spare parts to the Middle East in six containers mobilised the logistical and technical skills of the French group.

On site, the Sodikart team will consist of around ten people to ensure the availability of the karts, to advise the drivers and their mechanics and to provide them with all the necessary parts. A new member of the Sodi Kart Racing Team, the young Dutch champion Senna van Walstijn will be present, a strong ambassador for Sodikart.

See you with Sodikart in Bahrain from 11th to 18th December to experience the next edition of the RMCGF, which promises to be exciting for all fans of this competition where driving talent makes the difference.
