WSK Promotion has once again demonstrated its ability to organise top-class competitions during the particularly successful 2026 edition of the WSK Euro Series. Spanning three rounds in Viterbo (11–14 February), Lonato (15–18 April) and Cremona (8–11 July), the series brought together an exceptional field of drivers from many different countries. As the technical partner for the OK and KZ2 categories, LeCont played a key role in the event's success thanks to the performance of its LPM "Prime" tyres, a recognised benchmark at the very highest level of international karting.

Another demonstration under extreme conditions

Barely a week after the FIA European Karting Championship round held at Sarno, LeCont tyres were once again put to the test in particularly demanding conditions. The Cremona circuit welcomed competitors in intense heat, with temperatures ranging between 30 and 35 °C from Wednesday to Saturday, whilst track temperatures reached even higher levels.

Under these conditions, the "Prime" tyres retained all their performance qualities. Their ability to maintain a high level of grip whilst offering excellent performance consistency enabled the drivers to fully exploit their potential and their equipment throughout the various stages of the competition, resulting in closely fought and spectacular races.

Cremona, a particularly demanding circuit

The Cremona circuit is renowned for putting tyres through their paces. Its succession of fast, technical corners, combined with relatively short straights, severely limits the time available for the tyres to cool down. Thermal and mechanical stresses build up rapidly here, making this track an open-air laboratory for assessing the quality of a racing tyre. Balance, performance, grip levels, resistance to overheating and consistency of performance: LeCont rose to all these challenges with flying colours.

A valued technical presence on the ground

Beyond the quality of its products, LeCont was fully committed at Cremona, with a technical team on site to support drivers and teams. Thanks to its expertise and close ties with those in the paddock, the Italian manufacturer once again provided invaluable support throughout the event.

LeCont congratulates the winners: Max Orlov won the KZ2 Final ahead of Houzai Jiang and Dion Van Werven, and also secured the title ahead of Dion Van Werven and Jenson Graham. Orlov also set the fastest lap time of the weekend, clocking 47.144 at an average speed of over 94 km/h. Similarly, the OK class proved highly competitive, with Qarrar Firhand clocking 47.600! Firhand was crowned champion after finishing 2nd in the Final behind an excellent Harry Domain, who took the runners-up spot ahead of Iskender Zulfikari. Francisco Rocha completed the podium in the Final.

Following the success of the 2026 WSK Euro Series, LeCont is now looking forward to the upcoming events with enthusiasm. With ambitions as high as ever, the manufacturer is ready to continue its excellent collaboration with WSK Promotion at the WSK Final Cup, the various rounds of which will take place between late August and late November.
