Parolin Motorsport enjoyed another highly competitive weekend in the WSK Euro Series at Lonato, highlighted by Zayne Burgess's commanding victory in Mini U10. Blake Hsueh also impressed with 6th in Mini U10 on his first outing with the team, while Alexandr Machac and Lenox Lockhart both finished inside the top seven in Mini Gr3. The Italian manufacturer also celebrated major success through its partner teams, with Iskender Zulfikari (Ward Racing) winning in OK, Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart) in OK-N Junior and Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace Driver Academy) in Mini Gr3.

Round two of the three-round series was held in warm, dry conditions throughout the weekend at Lonato, with Parolin once again demonstrating the strength and depth of its package across multiple categories. In Mini U10 especially, seven of the top 10 finishers used Parolin chassis, underlining the competitiveness of the brand in one of the most closely fought classes of the meeting.

Burgess led the Parolin Motorsport charge in emphatic style in Mini U10. After qualifying on pole and remaining at the front through the heats and Prefinal, he started from pole for the Final and controlled the race from lights to flag to secure victory. It was another important result for the young driver, who now leads the championship with one round to go. Team-mate Hsueh also delivered a highly encouraging performance on his debut with Parolin Motorsport, progressing strongly through the weekend before gaining seven places in the Final to finish 6th.

Parolin Motorsport also showed strong pace in Mini Gr3. Machac came through to finish 6th in the Final after building speed across the meeting, while Lockhart completed a solid weekend with 7th place. The wider Parolin group enjoyed even greater success in the category, with Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace Driver Academy) taking victory and Phawin Warakitsupachok (BabyRace Driver Academy) finishing 3rd.

Ward Racing added more excellent results for Parolin in both OK and OK-Junior. In OK, Zulfikari converted front-running pace throughout the event into victory in the Final after taking the lead on lap seven, while team-mate Qarrar Firhand finished 2nd to complete a Parolin one-two. Benjamin Manach also remained in the leading group throughout the weekend and came home 5th in the Final, giving Ward Racing three Parolin chassis in the top five.

In OK-Junior, Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing) confirmed his strong form with a podium finish in 3rd after running at the front all weekend. Juan Garciarce (Ward Racing) produced one of the best recoveries of the class, gaining 11 places to finish 11th in the Final, while Max Felde (Ward Racing) crossed the line 22nd after a difficult opening lap despite success earlier in the weekend.

Parolin was also represented at the front in OK-N Junior, where Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart Racing Team) took victory and Luigi D'Ascoli (Modena Kart Racing Team) finished 2nd, while Colton Schniegenberg (Ward Racing) finished 5th after leading the early stages.

Marco Parolin said:

"It was a very satisfying weekend for Parolin, with our chassis winning four out of the seven Finals this weekend. Zayne did an excellent job to take the Mini U10 win for Parolin Motorsport, and Blake also showed very promising speed in his first race with us. At the same time, it was very important to see our partners winning in OK and OK-N Junior, with more podiums and strong results in several other classes. This confirms once again the quality and versatility of the Parolin package across the whole line-up."

Parolin Motorsport will now turn its attention to the next event on its calendar, the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Valencia on the first weekend of May for the OK and OK-Junior categories, before the European Championship resumes there the following weekend. The final round of the WSK Euro Series will take place at Cremona in July.
